Oh dear - we've been so busy admiring all the new designs that have been coming in, that
we haven't updated our blog for a while to tell you all about them! Oh well, we're back
now and ready to rave about all the gorgeous pieces that have been pouring into the
store lately.
First up, Stina has sent us a jam-packed full box of all sorts of summer goodies. Strapless
tops with draping, rouching, button details, and splashes of paint, looking elegent but
funky at the same time. Sleeveless tops with ribbon ties at the neck are proving very
popular already. Made with light-weight cottons in floral or pastel stripe prints, these
have been flying out the door as soon as they arrive, so be in quick!
Kate Watts is also focusing on the florals this summer, only it's from the darker side
of the garden. We have both summer dresses and cross-over cap-sleeve tops in black, with
dark burgundy and copper flowers swirling over them. Adding a touch of ladylike class to
summer dressing, we have just received a new selection of Kate's ever-popular fingerless
gloves, in pretty spring colours of rose pink, silver lurex, soft grey, and burgundy floral.
Recidivist has been busy, re-constructing various garments and fabrics into funky combinations
of colours and textures, with tops and skirts for the girls, and shirts for the guys.
Lots of bright colours and funky prints have also been coming in from Involved. For the guys
we have tshirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and lightweight summer hoodies in green, black, grey,
white, blue, and a very colourful orange/blue/white stripe. For the girls, shirts in pink/blue
check, extra-long rouched singlet tops in green, blue, grey, and black/white stripe, and hooded
dresses in red, black, and grey.
Scrappers has branched out a bit for spring - as well as her childrens tees and soft toys
featuring beaten-up, pirate, or ninja teddy bears, we now have mens and womens tees with
a variety of "scrapper" bear styles.
Add even more gorgeousness to your spring wardrobe with new jewellery - we've been
getting lots of new, shiny and sparkly bits and pieces arriving as well!
Aiden has been a busy lad, crafting stunning and unique rings and brooches out of solid sterling silver.
The rather organic designs of his jewellery take on even more of a nature focus, with brooches cast
out of driftwood. The detail on these pieces has to be seen to be believed.
From the middle of the South Island, we've received a box full of new Gaia jewllery, with brooches made
of paua and shaped like flowers, rings of semi-precious stones, silver, and copper, and heavy
necklaces and earrings made of silver and dark pearls.
New designs just keep on arriving, so keep on calling into Triangle - we'll have pretty new things
on display every week! (And for those lovers of WAS bags, we're expecting a shipment of satchel
bags (both large and their new small size) and laptop bags to arrive this weekend. Yay!)
